Ria

A photograph from the same place I stood and took "Ixalt" and "Illunima." This is the village of Ia, or at least a part of it. Located on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades of Greece.

The village is perched on a hill, built on a cliff which at one point is just a sheer drop down into the Aegean sea, into the caldera of Santorini. This photo is just a glimpse of what there is to be seen, but definately an accurate portrayal.

Ria is the title, for the name of the village is Ia and this is a photograph that is Real and looks what it would look like in reality. Fia, on the other hand, is a derivation from this photograph with some drastic modifications to the appearance.
